The Challenge
In order to meet the needs of the InWorldz™ Community, Virtual World Consultants needs a presence in InWorldz. Our Goal is to provide services and information to our existing and potential clients, as well as a office and meeting location for the VWC team, its collaborators and service providers. Additionally, in the spirit of fostering community, VWC wants a retail and business area with rental shops for InWorld's creators to open shops
Our Solution
A SIM, Port Glencairn, in InWorlds was located and acquired. The village of Port Glencairn was built, including an office for VWC and the parcel was landscaped. An information hub was created in the office to inform visitors of the services of Virtual World Consultants, as well as provide an example of the VWC team's building and texturing skills. The office provides a gathering space for all of the InWorlds community.
A village was created with several rental shops and clubs in a Victorian theme, all in all, providing a a community that combines residential, offices, event venues, clubs and shops.Results
The SIM opened in January 2012 and now is available to clients and visitors. Feel free to stop by and network with the VWC staff and InWorldz community, Shop, play and find a lovely home. Come and learn about the services we provide, or just relax for a while.
